Infinity Martial Arts Summer Camp engages children ages 7-12 in fun and educational activities.
Our programs consist of arts and crafts, science, sports, and outdoor activities in order to provide developmental experiences for campers.
You will be responsible for managing staff, following, and administering camp guidelines (safety, medical administration, and disciplinary), and maintaining direct communication with the Camp Director.

Responsibilities:
The most important out of all Camp Counselor duties is to ensure campers are safe at all times.
You'll be responsible for overseeing their activities and ensuring they don't get lost or hurt.
Other responsibilities include delegating tasks, educating campers about health and safety, planning activities, and improving the overall camp experience.
Leads, and implements camp programs outlined by the Camp Director.
Actively participates and leads camp activities Takes every effort to be a leadership presence in building while nurturing a sense of community and understanding among all staff members.
Briefs Camp Director daily and proposes potential changes for camp improvement.
Assesses camp staff performance and well-being of campers.
Administers safety guidelines and the camper discipline system.
Works with individual campers, assists staff with challenges and acts as a general resource, including communicating with parents.
Provides high-quality educational and recreational opportunities for camp participants.
Maintains accurate daily program records, including incident reports, logbook documentation, and attendance.
Knows, enforces, and follows all safety guidelines associated with the camp program.
Ongoing facility upkeep Head Counselor Skills /
Qualifications:
Be at least 18 years or older and possess the skills and maturity needed to perform the job successfully First aid- and CPR-certified preferred, otherwise training will be provided High School Diploma Have a minimum of 1 year experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field Supervisory/Leadership experience Caring, Energetic and positive personality Strong organizational skills Mediation skills Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (strength and stamina to follow strenuous activities like hiking, running, crouching, or carrying children) Our Facilities Infinity Martial Arts offers a fun, high energy work environment.
Our large, matted floor space allows for a plethora of games and activities for our campers.
All this ample space allows camp counselors to facilitate exciting and dynamic activities in a safe environment.
Work Hours Work hours will vary by location, but core camp hours are 8:
00AM - 4:
00PM.
Hours may vary based on scheduled field trips, and extended pickup times.
The Head Counselor is expected to be onsite 7:
00 am - 4:
00 pm on camp days, 37-40 hours are expected weekly.
Staff members will get a 15-minute break every shift and 30-minute lunch on shifts over 5-hours.
Some flexibility is necessary for start and end times.
Counselors may need to arrive earlier to open camp before 8am or stay until all kids are picked up, which may go past 5pm on some days.
